THIAKOS ZISSIS was
born in the village Karyotes at Lefkada in Greece in 1953, the 4th of the
five children of Konstantinou and Konstantinas Thiakou.
He did his military service, at the E.L.D.Y.K. Greek Department.
He was
injured in battle with the Turkish Army at the Turkish-Cypriot village Kioneli.
Returning to Greece after the army, he studied Tourism Management both in
Greece and abroad. He worked in different hotels in a variety of positions.
Since 1992 he has lived and worked in Cyprus.
In 1995 he married Mela
- Protopapa of the family Joannou and Georgia Protopapa from the now occupied
village of Koma tou Yialou.
He has two children, Konstantinos and Georgia .
Thiakos lives and works in Ayia Napa where has the Cappuccino Inn, close to
the Limanaki.
He wishes to all the refugees of Ammochostos to return
to their homes.
